Curriculum

He was born in Bilbao (Biscay) in 1967. He has a degree in law and business studies from the ICADE Business School (Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid) and an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School.

  • He began his career in 1991 at KPMG PEAT MARWICK. His career set off down a new path in 1992 at the Ferrovial Group, where he eventually led the Management Control Unit.
  • He assumed the role of General Manager of Ploder Concesiones in 2007, representing the group on the boards of directors of concessionaires and the companies managed by the contracting authorities. He joined the Assignia Infraestructuras Group in 2008, where he remained until 2010 when he joined the Isolux Corsan Group as Chief Financial Officer.
  • He was appointed Corporate General Manager of Isolux Infrastructure in 2012, an asset management company in the fields of transport (1,640 kilometres of motorway in five countries), electricity power lines (6,000 kilometres of power lines in three countries) and solar photovoltaic power generation (284 MW in seven countries).
  • He joined Global Power Generation (GPG) as Chief Officer in September 2015.
Francisco Antonio Bustío Gutiérrez

Curriculum

Born in Laredo (Cantabria), in 1968. He is a Senior Civil Engineer from the University of Santander and holds an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School.

  • He began his career in 1992 in the engineering department at Nuclenor, where he worked for the Santa María de Garoña nuclear power plant. He joined Unión Fenosa in 1996 and managed the Hydroelectricity Generation Unit for five years. He has been Managing Director of Sogama, a public-private company that operates an electricity generation plant from Solid Urban Wastes (SUW).
  • He later managed the Technical Project Management unit within the General Generation Management and, some time later, assumed management of the Group’s electricity generation assets development. At the end of 2012 he was appointed general manager of O&M Energy.
  • He joined Global Power Generation (GPG) in 2014 as Development Director. He subsequently held the position of Assistant Operations Director and was appointed Operations Director in April 2016.
  • In August 2019, he was appointed CEO of Global Power Generation (GPG).
Jordi Vich Llobet

Curriculum

Born in Barcelona, in 1976. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the ETSEIB at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and studied the Executive Development Programme at IE.

  • In 2001, he started his career in the Hydraulic Production unit at Unión Fenosa, where he worked in several maintenance departments.
  • Between 2005-06, he took part in the construction and implementation of the La Joya hydroelectric plant in Costa Rica. He then moved to the Technical Management of Hydraulic Production department, becoming the manager of the International Hydraulics O&M department in 2009.
  • In 2011, he became responsible for the local O&M of the hydroelectric plants in Spain, and then for O&M North in 2013.
  • In 2014, he joined GPG, where he held the position of Technical Manager for Hydraulics and Renewables. Two years later, he rejoined the Hydraulics Spain Unit as the director, until 2018 when the business was reorganised and he took on the role of manager of Renewable Energy Operation in Europe.
  • In October 2019, he joined GPG once more as Director of Operations.
Pedro Serrano Dorado

Curriculum

Born in Madrid, in 1971. He is a Senior Civil Engineer, from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and studied the Executive Development Programme run by IESE Business School and the IE Business School.

He began his career in 1996 in the hydraulic department of Unión Fenosa Ingeniería, where he worked on hydroelectric concession projects (Ulla and Lérez). In 2000, he was part of Soluziona Ingeniería where he held different positions: Construction Manager in Palamara and La Vega (Dominican Republic) and Hydroelectric Projects Director (CH Portodemouros and CH Santa Isabel).

  • He joined at Socoin in 2004, as head of the Hydroelectric Projects Department.
  • In 2008, he was moved to Colombia as EPSA Construction Director and Managing Director of Socoin Colombia, Costa Rica and Peru.
  • In 2012, he was appointed as Head of the Generation and Plants Department (Gas Natural Engineering and Technology Unit).
  • He joined Global Power Generation (GPG) in 2014 as Deputy Director responsible for the Fossil Fuels Unit at the Engineering and Construction Department and subsequently Deputy Director of Business Development MENAT (2015) and Deputy Director of Business Development Rest of the World (2016) both in the GPG’s Development Unit.
  • In October 2019, he was appointed Development Director of GPG.
